Our University Counsellors work with students to develop their further study plans and university and scholarship applications.
In Grade 10 students are given advice on their IB subject choices, and the Counsellors coordinate the Grade 10 Work Experience Programme. In Grades 11 and 12, and for our graduates completing their National Service or taking gap years, the Counsellors work with students individually to look at their interests and further study options, and in groups to inform students and parents about tertiary options around the world.
The Counsellors also organise a broad and balanced programme of university representatives who visit the School to speak to students and parents. Annually over 200 universities and scholarship-awarding bodies visit the School.
In addition, the Counsellors run workshops to help students write personal statements and application essays, as well as to help students prepare for application and scholarship interviews.
Our students apply to the best universities globally, our main destinations being Singapore, the UK, the US, Australia and Canada.
