We are home to 1700 students from 40 nationalities. We are inclusive and celebrate our diversity by welcoming students of all faiths.
We have a beautiful, large, landscaped campus situated in the heart of Singapore’s green belt adjacent to the MacRitchie Reservoir Park and easily accessible by public transport and car. Our facilities are well resourced and continuously improved.
The Elementary School roll stands at 670, while there are 1030 students in the High School – in total representing 40 different nationalities. The High School admits both Singaporean and international students in Grades 7 – 12 (ages 12-18) while the Elementary School caters to Expatriate children from pre-school to Grades 1 – 6 (ages 4-12).
Both the Elementary and High Schools enjoy the beautiful school chapel situated in a central location on the campus. The chapel was blessed and dedicated on 7 April 2008 under the patronage of Mary, Sanctuary of Divine Love. Just as she carried the Christ-child in her womb and brought him forth into the world, so too it is the hope that every Christian becomes a sanctuary of Christ’s presence, bearing him within and bringing him to others.
It was not in the original plan to build a chapel until much later, but through the generosity of two main donors, Dato Dr Somsak and Mr Lawrence da Silva, plans for a space dedicated solely to worship and prayer were drawn up by architect and SJI alumnus, Anthony Gabriel.
The plans were for a simple hall, surrounded by water and greenery. There was a preference for natural materials, like terracotta tiles, unpolished granite, stone walls and Burmese teak pews, and Indonesian sea shells. The focus would be on a square altar which would also be the reliquary displaying the bone relics of the eight martyred Brothers of the Asturias in Spain. To help SJI International remember Dato Dr Somsak who said he could not imagine a Catholic school without a chapel, on a pillar of granite there stands an elaborate Thai-style tabernacle. The carillon (a set of 19 bells), Balinese gong, the organ, the central crucifix, each pew and even the sea shells were the kind donation of many generous SJI alumni, SJI International parents and well-wishers.
Through the generosity of many, we have a house of prayer open to the whole school family; the spiritual heart of the school. May all who enter this sanctuary to worship depart to serve their sisters and brothers, especially the last, the lost and the least.

The school is well resourced for the delivery of all aspects of the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) and Singapore Maths and we enjoy a well-stocked and ever increasing library collection. Our beautiful library is situated right at the heart of the school and provides a vibrant environment for our students to engage in reading and research. Each classroom also has its own class library – a very important resource to support our goal of helping every child to develop a love of literature. All classes also have a Maths Centre which includes a variety of age-appropriate games and resources to support the children's learning.

The Dr Stephen Riady Library, named for its main benefactor, is situated on the third floor of the main HS building. The library is IB-accredited, with an ever-growing collection of over 10,000 titles, to support the school curriculum from Grade 7 to IB. It also contains major periodicals, local newspapers and a CD and DVD collection and has wifi connection, computers and access to photocopying and printing. The library is dominated by floor to ceiling windows on one side looking out to the greenery beyond, making it an attractive and peaceful place to study and reflect.
The Lawrence da Silva Sports Complex was opened in 2012.
