Submit an Application

Our Scholarship Admissions process begins in February, one year prior to the start of the applicable grade level (Grade 7, Grade 10 Foundation Course and Grade 11).

Please refer to the key deadlines and testing dates for Scholarship Applications.

We strongly recommend submitting your application as soon as the Scholarship Application window opens for your intended grade and academic year. There is no Application Fees, Enrolment Fee and Security Deposit payable for Scholarship applications.

Invitation for Assessments

Admissions Test: All High School applicants are required to sit for an admissions test, conducted on scheduled testing dates.

The assessment includes:

• The CEM Baseline Test
• An Oxford Online English Placement Test
• English Placement Papers
• Mathematics Placement Papers (For Applicants in Grade 10 Foundation Course and Grade 11 only)
• A language placement paper in the second language the applicant intends to study at SJI International

These tests help us assess applicants' academic level at a standardised level. Please note: test components may be subject to change.

Scholarship Interview: Following the assessments, shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend a panel interview with members of our Scholarship Committee and Senior Leadership Team.

Places Offered

Following the completion of the Scholarship Interview, the Scholarship Committee and Senior Leadership Team conducts a holistic evaluation of each applicant, taking into consideration all the supporting documents, means-testing where applicable, admissions test results and the interview outcome.

Parents will be notified of the decision latest by August for Grade 7 (Lasallian and Lion City Sailors Elite Development Scholarship respectively) and Grade 10 Foundation Course and Grade 11 (Foreign Scholarship). Local Scholarship outcome will be notified latest by the end of October. Parents are required to confirm acceptance within one week following the Scholarship placement offer.
