Open House Events
SJI International traditionally holds a series of Open House Events where your family can take a tour of the School, listen to a presentation from our Elementary & High School Faculty and meet a wide variety of academic and pastoral staff as well as students. In light of the current COVID situation, we can't invite you to come and visit us at the moment, but we still want to give you and your family an opportunity to see and hear what makes SJI International so special.
We will be holding our Virtual Open House for both our Elementary and High School where our Elementary and High School principals will explain our ethos and the holistic educational programme we got to offer to your children.
Please also follow us on social media to keep in touch with what is happening as well as announcements about opportunities to visit us in the future.
Please take a moment to enjoy this video.
On any given day at St. Joseph's Institution International School, you will find many enthusiastic students going about their day learning, laughing, practising and playing. Follow Lenna and Sofia through a typical day in their life as students here at SJII.
Before the scholarship, I had scaled down my aspirations and the pathway to university seemed distant. The nurturing and stimulating environment restored my confidence, self-esteem and enabled me to dream again. Being in SJI International gave me the chance to reach my full potential.” OUR SCHOLAR Jiayi Zhu '(19)
SJII's holistic education allowed me to focus on developing my confidence as a person, whilst my intellectual vitality and encouraged me to discover interdisciplinary links between fields and pursue my passions beyond the classroom. As I begin my research at the intersections of behavioural/public economics, law and industrial organisation, there is no doubt in my mind that I owe so much of who I am (and what interests me!) today to the SJII scholarship and community.”
OUR SCHOLAR Ruru hoong '(14)
I'm now a Deputy Public Prosecutor at the Attorney-General's Chambers, Singapore, working in the Financial and Technology Crime Division, which main remit is to prosecute financial crimes and crimes which have been assisted by technology. I was previously a State Counsel working at the International Affairs
Division for about 1.5 years, where we advised the Singapore government on international legal matters.”
