Pathways for Entry into Grade 7

Entry Into Grade 7 Students commence High School Grade 7 in the year they turn 13. There are two pathways for entry, all of which require the student to have turned 12 before entry.
Entry Into Grade 6 There is an automatic transition from SJI International Elementary School Grade 6 into Grade 7 of SJI International  High School.
Direct Entry: Grade 7

Eligibility: International students, Singaporean citizens and Student Pass Holders

Level: Grade 7 (Singapore Equivalent: Secondary 1)

Curriculum: Foundation IGCSE

Grade 7 is the first year of High School and the students undertake a 2-year Foundation International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) that is based on the British National Curriculum. Students follow a broad range of subjects taught by specialist teachers. Being exposed to a range of subjects enables students to make informed choices about their IGCSE options and ultimately what they will study in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme.
