The academic school year runs from January to December for Elementary School and High School.
We cannot admit a wide spectrum of learning needs as we have limited resources to support them. If your child has received learning support in the past, you may wish to contact us for more information.
At our Preschool on Holland Rd, children are served breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea daily, included in the school fees. Meals are delivered by our halal-certified caterer.
Our food solutions partner, Chartwells, is dedicated to serving our students happy and healthy meals at our Thomson campus. Chartwells’ team of chefs and registered dietitians curate delicious and nutritious menus offering a balance of plant-based and protein options, all prepared with healthier methods to fuel growing bodies.

Chartwells prioritises the safety and wellbeing of all students with a comprehensive food allergy management programme. They operate allergen-controlled kitchens, excluding tree nuts, peanuts, crustaceans, molluscs, and sesame from their ingredients. Furthermore, all Chartwells staff undergo rigorous training in handling special dietary needs and food allergens. This ensures every meal is prepared with the utmost care and adheres to the highest safety standards to accommodate students with allergies and dietary restrictions.
Our state-of-the-art facilities on Thomson Rd undergo continuous enhancements to ensure optimal resources for our students. The school boasts over 80 classrooms, a versatile indoor hall, art and music rooms, Digital Technologies suites, offices, and libraries. Additionally, we offer an IB Student Centre, well-equipped science laboratories, IT and music technology resources, a dynamic drama black box, The Lawrence da Silva Sports Complex featuring a 25-meter swimming pool and indoor sports hall, a fitness room, rock climbing wall, outdoor basketball and tennis courts, sports fields, and a Chapel. All classrooms are equipped with LCD projectors and feature air-conditioning for a comfortable learning environment.
SJI International High School opened its doors in 2007 and was shortly followed in 2008 by SJI International Elementary School.
SJI International High School is one of only three local international schools in Singapore open to both Singaporean and international students, making it uniquely positioned in the education space in Singapore. We are a community of more than 2,000 students from more than 40 nationalities across the two schools on one campus.
The Elementary School follows the Singaporean curriculum for maths and the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) and caters to all children from Prep 1-2 and Grades 1-6 (ages 4-12), while the High School admits both Singaporean and international students in Grades 7-12 (ages 12-18). Students work towards their IGCSEs and the IB Diploma.
