The choice of Mainstream and Bilingual Pathway
At SJI International Elementary School, we offer two distinctive curriculum pathways to cater to the diverse needs of our students. The Mainstream Programme emphasises English as the primary language of instruction, ensuring a strong foundation in the language, while also incorporating Mandarin lessons as a valuable component of the weekly timetable.
On the other hand, our Bilingual Programme provides an immersive dual language experience, with instruction delivered in both English and Chinese. This pathway is designed to foster bilingualism, offering students a unique opportunity to develop proficiency in both languages from an early age.
Whichever pathway is chosen, our dedicated educators are committed to providing a supportive and enriching learning environment that nurtures the academic and linguistic growth of each student.

The Virtues Project™ is used at SJI International Elementary School as a vehicle to make the school values accessible for the children. The Virtues Project™ is based on the beliefs and virtues valued by diverse cultures and world religions, and its mission is to provide empowering strategies that inspire the practice of virtues in everyday life.
