As a registered Private Education Institution (PEI) under the Private Education Act, we strictly comply with the Enhanced Registration Framework (ERF) administered by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG).

In addition, SJI International is EduTrust-certified, reflecting our dedication to excellence in academic quality, student protection, and continuous improvement in educational standards. This certification affirms our commitment to providing a high-quality learning environment that meets the rigorous standards set by SSG.

The Private Education Act ensures that all PEIs in Singapore maintain accountability, quality education standards, and transparency in operations. In adherence to this, SJI International aligns with the latest Advertising Guidelines for Private Education Institutions (effective 1 November 2024) to ensure that all communication and promotional materials are accurate, ethical, and not misleading.

SJI International is registered under the Enhanced Registration Framework (ERF), which sets baseline standards for all private education institutions in Singapore.

The ERF, administered by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG), which functions independently as the regulatory authority of the private education industry in Singapore, examines PEI based on the following aspects:

• ✔ Information Transparency

The EduTrust Certification Scheme (EduTrust) is a quality assurance scheme administered and governed by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) for Private Education Institutions (PEIs) in Singapore.  The SSG is responsible for all decisions under the EduTrust Certification Scheme.  SSG aims to raise the standards of the industry to ensure PEIs provide a higher standard of educational services and good student/graduate outcomes.

SJI International undergoes assessments and renewals to ensure continued compliance with the ERF and EduTrust, affirming our commitment to delivering a high-quality educational experience.

All students enrolling in SJI International sign SSG's standard PEI-Student Contract, which outlines:

• ✔ Course details, including duration and completion requirements.
• ✔ Transparent fee structures, including GST (if applicable).
• ✔ Refund policies.

The contract ensures full transparency and accountability, protecting students and their families from any unforeseen circumstances.

St. Joseph's Institution International Elementary School has in place a Fee Protection Scheme (FPS) to protect the paid course fees of all Elementary School students. The FPS protects the student's fees if the PEI cannot continue operations due to insolvency and regulatory closure. In addition, the FPS protects the student if the PEI fails to pay penalties or return fees to the student arising from judgments made against it by the Singapore courts.

St. Joseph's Institution International Elementary School has appointed Lonpac Insurance as its FPS insurance provider. Under the FPS insurance scheme, students' fees are insured by Lonpac Insurance. In the case of events, as stated above, students will be able to claim their paid fees from Lonpac Insurance. St. Joseph's Institution International Elementary School will arrange to protect students' fees with Lonpac Insurance by the 11th calendar day of each month.

All students enrolled at St. Joseph’s Institution International and St. Joseph’s Institution International Elementary School Ltd are covered under the GroupPlus Accident Insurance policy with AIG Asia Pacific Insurance Pte. Ltd.

This insurance provides coverage for accidents resulting in bodily injury or death to the insured person, ensuring financial protection and support in unforeseen circumstances.
