We are delighted you are considering SJI International for you and your family. Our Elementary School welcomes students from Prep 1 (age 4) through to Grade 6 (age 12), offering a nurturing and engaging environment where young learners can grow in both heart and mind.
Rooted in our strong emphasis on character education, we take time to get to know every child and every family who joins our community. From your very first enquiry to your child’s first day, we are here to ensure that you fell supported every step of the way.
Understanding Availability
Due to high demand, some year levels may have limited or no availability at certain points during the year. While we do accept applications year-round, we encourage families to apply early and to be open to flexible start dates where possible. Families can submit an application to Elementary School up to two years in advance of their preferred start date.
Once we receive your application, we will advise you on current availability and guide you on next steps - whether that’s a request for further information, an assessment, or joining our waitlist.

Choosing the Right Path for Your Child
At SJI International Elementary School, we offer two unique learning pathways for students. When submitting your application, you will be asked to indicate your preferred programme. If you are unsure which pathway is the best fit for your child, our Elementary School Admissions team will be happy to help provide information on the differences and connect you with our teaching staff who will be able to guide you based on your child's language background and learning style.
Mainstream Programme
Our Mainstream Programme offers a rich, inquiry-based international curriculum with a strong emphasis on character education, academic excellence, and the holistic development of every child. English is the primary language of instruction, with daily Mandarin lessons included.
